Patterns & measurements gives 60% weight to experimental pattern similarity and 40% to measured demands. Pattern similarity combines presence (50%), occurrence rate (30%) and time covered (20%); rarer detected patterns carry more weight. Only patterns with supported coverage on both charts contribute; charts with insufficient coverage fall back to measurements and follow covered matches. Measurements uses input speed, rhythm, simultaneous inputs, holds, slides and layout alone. Neither mode is a difficulty or practice-benefit estimate.
